Choose a healthy puppy for your family.

Our Bernedoodles come with a warranty against health and genetics issues for the first 2 years of their life. Please read our Bernedoodle health guarantee for more information.

Selecting the wrong breed (or an unhealthy puppy) can cause challenges for both you and your dog.

THIS is why we only breed the BEST!  Our mama Bernese Mountain Dogs receive the highest quality care so they and their puppies can lead happy, healthy lives. We also spent years seeking out the perfect genetics, personalities and look from these females, as well as the perfect males for superior breeding.

You’ll find our Bernedoodle health guarantee below. If you have any questions before applying for a puppy, feel free to contact us or call 765-404-8312. Or, download our sales contract by clicking the button below.

Health Warranty

Health & Genetics

Your puppy is guaranteed to be in good health, current on vaccinations, and dewormed for age by our licensed, reputable veterinarian. Your puppy will also be microchipped, with dew claws removed, before leaving our home. This puppy is guaranteed against debilitating or life-threatening hereditary/congenital diseases until they are 24 months old. This includes hip dysplasia (mild-severe), vWD (affected), cardiac issues, and/or hereditary debilitating eye diseases. We do not cover improper bite and/or against umbilical hernias, as these do not affect the “pet quality” of your dog and are not life-threatening.

If the buyer's veterinarian should find the puppy to have a life-threatening illness or disease, or a life-altering genetic defect, we must be notified immediately. In this case, we would work closely with you and your vet for the best outcome for you and your puppy. We'll either give you a full refund of the price of the puppy, or we'll replace your puppy with another of equal value as soon as possible. This is the choice of the purchaser, as long as the puppy seems to be well cared for.  This is at the full discretion of the breeder and veterinarian. The breeder will always have the option of having the diagnosis confirmed by their veterinarian of choice before issuing a refund.

Please take your puppy to your veterinarian within the first week of getting them home. Some normal puppy issues may be parasites, coccidia, or another minor illness — many of which can occur due to the stress of being rehomed, no matter how smoothly the process goes.

A licensed veterinarian must provide documentation (by OFA or PennHip for hip and elbow issues, a certified veterinary cardiologist for cardiac issues, or a certified canine ophthalmologist for eye issues).

Triple C Acres is not responsible for vet bills or shipping and transportation costs. The breeder may have the said puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian of their choice to verify the diagnosis. This guarantee is void if your dog is found to be overweight and/or not fed a quality diet.

Spay/Neuter & Breeding Requirements

We sell our puppies with limited registration (no breeding rights) unless we arrange an agreement in advance. Your puppy must be spayed or neutered by the time they’re nine months old, and the new owner must send us (the breeder) proof of this. If we (Triple C Acres) do not receive proof that your puppy has been spayed or neutered by the ninth month, the buyer shall pay Triple C Acres $10,000 for breeding rights.

If this dog was sold for breeding, they must be tested for hips and elbows (OFA or PennHip) before their first mating, and females must be bred no earlier than their second heat cycle.

Once You Bring Your Puppy Home

Please be careful where you take your new puppy until they finish their entire series of puppy shots (usually when they’re 16-17 weeks old). Avoid pet stores, dog parks, rest areas, and the like. We know you’ll want to show off your new puppy, but it’s best for their health to avoid these places until they’re completely immunized.

The buyer agrees that your puppy will live indoors, eat a quality diet, and stay current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative as recommended by your licensed veterinarian. The buyer agrees they will never take your puppy to a dog shelter or pound, or use them for research.

We understand that, at times, circumstances may arise where an owner cannot keep their dog. If you choose to return your dog to the breeder, we will take responsibility to rehome your dog, and there will be no reimbursement for your dog.

This health warranty is void if your puppy/dog is transferred to a new owner before they are 12 months old.

We are here to support the full life of your dog and want to work clearly and respectfully with you. Owning a puppy or dog is a great gift, and it should be fun and enjoyable.

The average life-span is 12-17 years for a mini Bernedoodle. With lots of love, patience, and commitment, you will have a long-time, loyal family companion.
